찬송으로 충만한 삶
아침과 저녁마다 서서 여호와께 감사하고 찬송하며. (역대상 23:30)
10일 아침(낮)입니다.
선택된 하나님의 백성 중에서 특별히 구별된 한 지파가 바로 레위 사람들입니다. 그들 가문에서만 제사장이 배출되었고 나머지 사람들도 세속적인 직업을 갖지 않고 모두가 성전 봉사에 연관된 일을 도맡았습니다. 그 중에서 가장 핵심적인 것이 바로 예배의 중심에 서는 일입니다. 제사장으로 섬기든 아니면 제사 업무에 직간접적으로 연관된 일을 감당하든 하나님을 예배하는 자로서 그들의 마음가짐은 똑같았습니다. 그중에서도 오늘의 말씀은 4,000명으로 구성된 악사들의 본분입니다. 그들은 아침저녁으로 드려지는 제사 때마다 서서 여호와 하나님께 축사하며 찬송했습니다. 오늘 밤과 내일 아침만은 하나님 섬김에서 악사의 일원이 되어 그렇게 온전히 하나님께 감사를 고백하며 찬양에 몰두하고픕니다. “주님! 감사의 고백이 제 마음에서 넘쳐나 입술에 가득합니다. 노랫말로는 성이 차지 않사오니 곡조를 붙여 소리 높여 주님의 성호를 찬양하게 하옵소서! 주님의 행하심을 온 천하에 퍼뜨리게 하옵소서! 저의 호흡과 동작이 노랫말이 되고 곡조가 되게 하옵소서! 찬양으로 깨어나고 찬양으로 지쳐 잠들게 하옵소서! 죽어가면서도 부르고 싶은 건 제 삶을 향하신 하나님의 무궁하신 인자와 긍휼입니다.”
10. Life abundant with praise
They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD. They were to do the same in the evening. (1 Chronicles 23:30)
It's morning (daytime) on Day 10.
Among the chosen people of God, one tribe was especially set apart: the Levites. Only from their family were priests produced, and the rest of the people didn't have secular jobs, but all had jobs related to the service of the temple, the most central of which was to be at the center of worship. Whether they were serving as priests or performing tasks directly or indirectly related to priestly duties, their mindset as worshippers of God was the same. This is especially true of the 4,000 musicians, who stood at the center of each sacrifice, morning and evening, and gave thanks and praise to the Lord God. Tonight and tomorrow morning only, I want to be one of those musicians in the service of God, and I want to be immersed in praise, confessing my gratitude to God so fully.
"Confessions of gratitude overflow from my heart and fill my lips, O Lord! Let me praise your holy name with a loud voice, for words alone are not enough; let my breathing and my movements be a song and a melody, so that your deeds may be spread throughout the earth! Let me wake up with praise and fall asleep weary with praise. What I want to call out on my deathbed is God's infinite mercy and compassion for my life."
10. 밤중에 지혜를 캐내는 삶
하늘이 하나님의 영광을 선포하고 궁창이 그의 손으로 하신 일을 나타내는도다. 날은 날에게 말하고 밤은 밤에게 지식을 전하니. (시편 19:1-2)
10일 저녁(밤)입니다.
대자연이 하나님의 종이 되어 천상의 메시지를 전하고 시간이 서로 소통하는 이 절묘한 묘사를 묵상하며 만물의 영장인 인간의 무능과 나태에 치를 떱니다. 불순종으로 하나님을 등졌던 아담의 후예이기에 하나님의 영광을 갉아먹는 것이야 그럴 수밖에 없다 해도 아담에게 종속되었던 모든 것에서 탈피해 그리스도께 속한 새 존재가 되었다면 달라져야 합니다.
말 못하는 하늘보다 더 하나님을 선포해야 하고 침묵하는 시간보다 더 확실히 소통하며 거룩한 지식 전달에 탁월함을 이루어야 합니다. 우리의 삶이 환한 낮일 때는 소통의 장벽이 덜하지만 밤이 되면 불통의 두꺼운 벽 앞에 망연자실하게 됨은 우리의 솔직한 모습입니다. “밤은 밤에게 지식을 전하니”는 인생과 영혼의 밤이야말로 역경 속에 담금질한 인간이 습득한 값비싼 지혜와 지식을 나눌 수 있는 적기임을 새삼 깨닫게 합니다.
“주님, 제게 주어진 날들을 통해 하나님의 영광을 가렸던 적이 많았음을 부끄러워하며 회개합니다. 이제부터라도 남을 저의 날들을 통해 하나님의 지극한 영광이 나타나게 하옵소서! 그런 책임감과 사명감으로 저의 날을 이루어가게 하옵소서! 설혹 밝은 대낮보다 캄캄한 밤의 시간이 많을지라도 밤을 통과한 수료자로서, 흑암과 싸워 이긴 전사로서 그 생생한 하나님 임재의 경험을 후일담 삼아 주변에 전하게 하옵소서! 낮의 이야기보다 밤의 이야기가 비슷한 환경에 놓인 이들에게는 생생한 간증이 되고 자극제 역할을 할 것입니다. 오늘도 밤이 길어진다면 제 영혼이 얻는 지혜 또한 확실하고 많아지게 하옵소서!”
10. Life mining wisdom in the midnight
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. (Psalms 19:1-2)
It's evening (night) on Day 10.
Contemplating this exquisite depiction of nature becoming the servant of God, delivering celestial messages and communicating with time, we pay the price for the incompetence and sloth of man, the warrant of all things. As descendants of Adam, who turned his back on God in disobedience, we are bound to gnaw at the glory of God, but if we have been freed from all that made us subject to Adam and have become new beings belonging to Christ, we should be different.
We should proclaim God more than the speechless heavens, communicate more surely than silent time, and excel in the transmission of holy knowledge. It is an honest reflection of our lives that when our days are bright, there are fewer barriers to communication, but when night falls, we find ourselves in the face of a thick wall of incommunicability. "The night brings knowledge to the night" reminds us that the night of our lives and souls is the right time to share the costly wisdom and knowledge acquired by humans tempered by adversity.
"Lord, I am ashamed and repentant that I have often obscured your glory through the days I have been given. Let your supreme glory be manifested through my remaining days from now on! Let me fulfill my days with such a sense of responsibility and mission! Even though there may be more hours of darkness than bright daylight, let me, as a finisher who has passed through the night. As a warrior who has battled the darkness and won, tell others about that vivid experience of your presence as a postscript! More than the stories of the day, the stories of the night will serve as a living testimony and stimulus to those who find themselves in similar circumstances. May the wisdom my soul gains be sure and abundant as the nights grow longer!“
