29일 아침(낮)입니다.

주님이 십자가에서 돌아가신 후 3일째 되는 이 날은 새로운 인류의 구속사에서 첫날이 되는 의미 깊은 시간이었습니다. 인류를 괴롭히던 죽음이 죽임을 당하고 어둠의 자식들이 빛의 자녀로 새로워지는 신기원의 순간이었습니다. 막달라 마리아는 주님의 시체를 무덤에서 찾았지만 하나님은 부활하신 그분을 이미 옮기셨습니다. 골짜기에 굴러다니던 마른 뼈들에게 생기가 들어감으로 살아 일어나 여호와의 큰 군대를 이루었던 것처럼 이 첫날에는 죽은 것이 살아납니다. 부활의 산 증인이 되어 막달라 마리아는 평생을 감격 속에 보냈을 것입니다.

“죽어도 살겠고 살아서 나를 믿는 자는 영원히 죽지 아니하리라.”던 말씀을 기억하던 막달라 마리아에게 부활하신 주님과의 만남은 경이로움으로 차고 넘쳤습니다. 제 삶에 아직 어두움이 잔존해 있어도 생명의 능력으로 죽음 같은 시간들을 활기차게 뒤바꾸는 역사가 일어납니다. 존재와 삶의 부활이 일어나는 순간마다 저는 영혼의 첫날을 맞이합니다. 장사지냄의 상징인 인봉된 돌이 아무리 거대하다 해도 하나님은 천사들을 보내 깃털처럼 가볍게 옮기십니다.

“주님, 절망과 좌절의 돌문들이 즐비한 세상입니다. 죽음이 광폭 행보를 이어가고 있습니다. 그 가운데 생기 잃고 살아가는 인생들에게 부활의 권능으로 임하사 그것들을 옮겨 주시옵소서! 닫힌 문이 열리고 막힌 담이 뚫리는 돌파의 은혜를 힘입게 하옵소서! 간구의 관통력으로 난공불락의 성채를 무너지게 하옵소서! 오늘도 제 삶이 많은 날들 중의 한날이 아니라 새 생명의 능력으로 열어가는 첫날이 되게 하옵소서!”

29. Life of exceptional penetration and

breakthrough power

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. (John 20:1)

It's morning (daytime) on Day 29.

It was the third day after the Lord's death on the cross, the first day in the redemptive history of a new humanity. It was an epochal moment, when the death that plagued humanity was slain and the children of darkness were renewed as children of light. Mary Magdalene found the Lord's body in the tomb, but God had already moved the risen One. On this first day, the dead were made alive, just as the dry bones that had been rolling in the valley came to life and formed the Lord's great army. Being a living witness to the resurrection must have thrilled

Mary Magdalene for the rest of her life. Remembering the words, "Though I die, yet I shall live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die," her encounter with the risen Lord was filled with wonder. Even when darkness still lingers in my life, the power of life is at work, transforming dead times into vibrant ones. Each moment of resurrection of being and life is the first day of my soul. No matter how massive the sealed stone, the symbol of burial, is, God sends angels to carry it away as light as a feather.

"Lord, it is a world full of stone doors of despair and frustration. Death is on a rampage. Please come upon the lives who are living without life among them by the power of resurrection and move them away! Give me the grace of breakthrough, where closed doors are opened and barred walls are breached! Let the impregnable fortress collapse with the penetrating power of supplication. Let today be not just one of many days, but the first day of my life to open in the power of new life!"

29. 흑암 권세를 기도로 부수는 삶

한밤중에 바울과 실라가 기도하고 하나님을 찬송하매 죄수들이 듣더라 이에 갑자기 큰 지진이 나서 옥터가 움직이고 문이 곧 다 열리며 모든 사람의 매인 것이 다 벗어진지라. (사도행전 16:25-26)

29일 저녁(밤)입니다.

빌립보의 지하 감옥에서 들려오는 소리는 저주와 원망과 탄식뿐이었습니다. 어느 날 복음을 전하다 체포된 바울과 실라가 감옥에 갇혔습니다. 평소에 들리던 암울한 소리가 아닌 강렬한 기도와 찬송 소리가 감방마다 울려 퍼졌습니다. 갑자기 강진과 함께 감옥 터가 움직이고 문이 열릴 뿐 아니라 죄수들의 수족을 매고 있던 차꼬가 모두 풀어졌습니다. 다행히 폭동은 일어나지 않았고 두려워 떠는 간수장을 바울이 안심시켰습니다.

가장 깊은 밤인 한밤중에 바울과 실라는 기도하고 찬송했습니다. “너희 중에 고난당하는 자가 있느냐? 저는 기도할 것이요”라는 말씀처럼 그들은 기도했고 찬송에 기도의 마음을 실었습니다. 최악의 고통을 극복하는 최선의 길은 기도하는 일입니다. 불가능의 벽에서 이성은 고개 숙이지만 신앙은 기도의 쇠뭉치를 휘두릅니다. 하나님이 감동하면 대자연이 반응하고 인간은 기적을 목도합니다.

“주님, 어리석은 자는 저물 때, 황혼 때, 깊은 밤 흑암 중에 죄의 즐거움을 찾지만 지혜로운 백성은 기도로 부르짖고 간구로 오열합니다. 지독한 밤일수록 간절히 기도케 하옵소서! 캄캄함이 끈질긴 만큼 끈질기게 기도케 하옵소서! 사방천지가 칠흑 같은 어둠에 겹겹이 쌓일수록 처절하게 부르짖게 하옵소서!”

29. Life breaking the power of darkness through prayer

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose. (Acts 16:25-26)

It's evening (night) on day 29.

The only sounds coming from the dungeons of Philippi were curses, complaints, and lamentations. One day, Paul and Silas were arrested for preaching the gospel and thrown in jail. Instead of the usual somber sounds, intense prayers and hymns echoed from cell to cell. Suddenly, with a strong tremor, the prison grounds move, the doors open, and the prisoners' chains are untied. Fortunately, no riot broke out, and Paul reassured the frightened jailer.

In the deepest part of the night, in the middle of the night, Paul and Silas prayed and sang. They prayed and put their hearts into the hymn, as it says, "Is anyone among you in distress, and I will pray?" The best way to overcome the worst pain is to pray. At the wall of impossibility, reason bows its head, but faith wields the sledgehammer of prayer. When God is moved, Mother Nature responds, and humans experience miracles.

"Lord, the foolish find pleasure in sin at dusk, at twilight, in the darkness of the deep night. But your wise people cry out in prayer and are filled with supplication. Let them pray fervently, as fierce as the night is; let them pray persistently, as persistent as the darkness is; let them cry out desperately, as darkness piles up on all sides!"
