17일 아침(낮)입니다.

주님의 인자 속에 잠든 자는 아침에 주님의 인자로 깨어납니다. 주님의 능력으로 안식을 취한 자는 능력으로 새 아침을 맞습니다. 채운 만큼 넘치고 받은 만큼 나누어줄 수 있음은 거룩한 주 받음의 원리입니다. 하나님의 사람에게는 어떤 상황에서도 부를 노래가 있습니다. 사연이 기가 막힐수록 노랫말은 감동의 물결입니다. 사방의 적에게 쫓기는 자가 아니면 주님을 요새로 인식하기가 쉽지 않습니다. 땅의 것을 좇느라 하늘 한 번 쳐다보지 못하고 살던 이들일수록 벼랑 끝에 매달려서야 높은 하늘을 쳐다봅니다. 영혼을 낮추는 환난의 진정한 의미를 모르는 사람일수록 ‘주는 나의 피난처’라 수천수만 번을 외쳐도 주님이 광풍을 피하는 곳, 폭우를 가리는 곳, 곤비한 땅에 큰 바위 그늘 같음을 진정 알 턱이 없습니다.

“주님, 죽을 고비를 숱하게 넘으며 사선을 맴돌던 저의 삶이기에 제게는 주님의 인자하심을, 그 형언할 길 없이 크신 긍휼을 소리 높이 외칠 이유가 있습니다. 아침마다 주님의 놀라운 인자를 고백치 않으면 당장이라도 혓바늘이 돋을 것입니다. 주님! 안전한 요새, 확실한 피난처 되어주심을 감사드립니다. 주님의 인자하심을 소리높이 외치며 한없이 크고 넓은 사랑을 중단 없이 노래하렵니다. 그것이 제가 살아있는 이유이며 새아침을 맞이한 보람입니다.”

17. Living residing in the fortress and refuge

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. (Psalms 59:16)

It's morning (daytime) on Day 17.

Those who sleep in the favor of the Lord awaken in the morning in the favor of the Lord. He who rests in the power of the Lord rises in the morning with power. It is the principle of the holy receiving of the Lord that you can overflow as you are filled and give as you have received. A man of God has a song to sing in any situation. The more extraordinary the story, the more moving the song. It is not easy to recognize the Lord as a fortress unless one is pursued by enemies on all sides; and it is not until one is clinging to the edge of a precipice that one looks up to the heavens in pursuit of earthly things. Those who do not know the true meaning of soul-humbling tribulation cannot truly know that the Lord is a place of refuge from the storm, a covering from the downpour, a shadow of a great rock in a troubled land, no matter how many times they cry out, "The Lord is my refuge.

"Lord, I have reason to shout aloud of your mercies, your ineffable compassion, for my life has been one of death and dying. If I don't confess your marvelous mercies in the morning, my tongue will soon be out of joint, Lord! Thank you for being a safe fortress, a sure refuge. I will shout aloud for your mercy, and sing without cessation of your great and wide love; that is the reason I am alive, and the reward of a new day.“

전천후의 보호를 자각하는 삶

여호와는 너를 지키시는 이시라. 여호와께서 네 오른쪽에서 네 그늘이 되시나니 낮의 해가 너를 상하게 하지 아니하며 밤의 달도 너를 해치지 아니하리로다. (시편 121:5-6)

17일 저녁(밤)입니다.

해와 달은 주야를 위해 비치된 하나님의 두 광명체입니다. 해와 달이 사람에게 주는 유익은 적지 않습니다. 하지만 너무 강한 햇빛은 사람을 상하게 하고 달의 음기 역시 지나치면 몸에 해롭습니다. 하나님은 자기 백성을 지키시되 철저하고 완벽하게 지키십니다. 크고 작은 재난으로부터 건지시고 재앙의 날에 친히 팔을 걷어붙이고 나서십니다. 가인은 유일한 형제인 아벨을 죽이고 하나님을 향해 “내가 내 아우를 지키는 자입니까?” 항변했지만 하나님은 자기에게 속한 자에게 “나는 너를 지키는 자”라고 스스로를 밝히십니다. 하나님은 항상 우리의 우편에서 도와주시는 고로 영원한 우군이 되십니다. 사탄과 그의 졸개들이 해변의 모래알처럼 좌편으로 몰려와 윽박질러도 나를 지으신 하나님, 천지를 만드신 하나님이 우편에 계시기에 끄떡없습니다.

“주님! 언제나 내 삶과 영혼의 방패막이가 되어주심에 감사드립니다. 해와 달만이 아니라 하늘의 뭇별들이 해코지를 한다 해도 눈도 깜빡치 않을 것은 천지의 주재이신 하나님께서 나의 보장이 되어주실 것이기 때문입니다. 이 밤에 그 보호하시는 기운을 확연히 감지케 하옵소서!”

Life aware of everlasting protection

The LORD watches over you- the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. (Psalms 121:5-6)

It's evening (night) on Day 17.

The sun and moon are God's two luminaries for day and night. The sun and moon are beneficial to people, but too much sunlight hurts people, and too much moonlight is harmful to the body. God protects his people, but he protects them thoroughly and completely. He delivers them from calamities great and small, and in the day of calamity, he is there with his arm around them. Cain pleaded with God after killing his only brother Abel, "am I my brother's keeper?" But God reveals himself to those who belong to him, "I am your keeper". God is always at our right hand to help us, making him an everlasting ally. Satan and his minions can come at me from the left like grains of sand on the beach, but I can stand firm because the God who made me, the God who made the heavens and the earth, is at my right hand.

"Thank you, Lord, for always being the shield of my life and soul. Even if the sun and moon, as well as the stars of heaven, were to harm me, I would not blink an eye, for you, the sovereign God of heaven and earth, would be my guarantee. May I feel your protective aura clearly on this night!“
